Carols by Candlelight 2024
Get ready for the Christmas spirit at Third Church! It’s our annual Christmas program and everyone is invited!
40-voice choir, string quartet, percussion, saxophonist Rob Holbert, organist Tim Effler, and lots of congregational carols — all supporting the reading of the Christmas story. New this year! Students from our Third Church Sunday School will join us on one of the musical selections.
Grab a homemade cookie and cider on your way out! Mark your calendars, bring your friends and family.

Thanksgiving Service
Our Thanksgiving Service held on Thanksgiving Day is at 10:30 a.m.
Come early for the extended prelude beginning at 10:20 a.m. with flutist, Ashley Alarcon joining Chris Crook. The guest soloist is David Womack.
Child care will be provided up to the age of 3.
Christian Science Lecture - Moving Past Fear to Healing
Join us for a free talk on Christian Science on the topic of “Moving Past Fear to Healing.” This is presented by Christian Science Lecturer Lisa Troseth, CSB.

We know there’s a lot going on around Dallas on Oct. 12th, but hope that while you’re out and about you can drop by for a bit for some food and fun! See the schedule below!

Activities will be ongoing from 10:00 – 1:45 including a bounce house and activities for the kids, games, live music, photo shoot, Gratitude Wall, food truck, and more! Dogs on leashes welcome.

National Faith and Blue Weekend in Dallas
National Faith & Blue Weekend is a collaborative effort to build bridges and break biases.
Ice Cream and Waterslide
Members from several local Christian Science churches have worked together to offer some activities here in the Dallas area to coincide with events happening in Boston for the Annual Meeting of The First Church of Christ, Scientist.
Third Church is the site for an Ice Cream Social & Water slide.
All Third Church members and families are welcome!
Feel free to invite your friends from other churches for this community event.

How Spiritual Perception Brings Healing
We’re pleased to announce our upcoming lecture by Alexandre Fischer, C.S., from Pau, France. Third Church has been working with a group of branch churches for some time to help Alex obtain a visa so he can lecture in the USA. Now that the visa has been approved, he will be here Thursday, May 25 at 7pm at the Museum of Biblical Art, 7500 Park Lane, Dallas 75225. The lecture is entitled, “How Spiritual Perception Brings Healing.
